Dreamscape is a unique "dream building" game. Incarnate a dreamer collecting dreamshards in mysterious locations such as the lair of the Clockwork Golem. Create dreamscapes with these shards, stroll along paths, climb mountains, and pass through waterfalls. A game of Dreamscape is played in six rounds consisting of two phases:
In the Travel phase, wander through the dreamworld in quest for dreamshards. Use with skill the key function of the locations you cross and save precious action points to collect more shards. But avoid Mr Nightmare, who is lurking around to infest your dreams.
Then comes the Creation phase, in which you construct your own dreamscape in 3D, using the collected dreamshards. Score points for completed landscapes as listed on your personal goals. And to shape your Dreamscape constantly evolving, you can rely on the essential location powers.
Furthermore, a series of common goals offer new challenges with each game, influencing your choices while collecting and building your Dreamscape.
Dreamscape offers a game experience that cannot be compared to any other game, with a unique combination of route-planning, resource collecting and ultimately building your own little Dreamworld as a small tableau. In the end, the wonderful dreamscapes you will create will leave you with a magical feeling, constantly renewed.
Will'O the Wisp Expansion
Night after night, roaming your Dreamscape, you end up believing it holds no secret for you anymore. But when you see for the first time the eyes of a Wisp, you immediately understand how wrong you were. You remember some tales of the ancients, mentioning those tiny creatures waiting for a kind soul to show them the way to follow, in exchange for granting tremendous wishes.
It is decided! Saving these cute Wisps from limbo will become part of your mission,and for sure, Will O’ The Wisp won’t forget your brave actions.
Red Raven Expansion
Lurking in the shadows, it is there. This oppressive presence, you always felt it. Guiding your steps to the darkest recesses of your dreams, you hardly dare to look at it when it finally appears on your way.
Sometimes you chase it, gathering enough strength to face your nightmares, but you know that sooner or later it will be watching you, darkening your sweetest dreams. Will you finally be able to free yourself from its harmful hold?
White as Snow Expansion
Cradled by the gentle pulsing warmth of a fireplace, your thoughts wander back to sunny winter afternoons; invigoranting cold, the snow crunching under your feet, the snowballs flying and the big, round snowmen.
The snow invited itself into your musings, so whether it is to stack it up to and form cute parts of landscapes, to melt it under your feet, or to help you slide a bit further in your dreams, you’re the only one to choose how to play with it!
Dream Creatures Expansion
Your dreams host every kind of inhabitants most of the time discreet. You could meet one at any time, hiding in the bend of a path. And you would be surprised to discover that those tiny creatures don’t ask much to follow you.
Sometimes clever, sometimes playful, and all different, this Dream Creatures ask a small price for the precious help they are ready to provide.
