Set in a sci-fi post-apocalyptic future, the Moon has collided with Earth, draining the oceans and awakening Tsukuyumi, a colossal dragon-god trapped within its core. Players command radically different factions fighting across the exposed seabed: the cybernetic warriors of the Cybersamurai, the mutated swarm of the Dark Seed, the resilient post-human Nomads, or the terrifying mutated Boarlords. Each faction comes with entirely unique unit types, specialized stat boards, mission goals, and asymmetrical action sequences, requiring players to completely adapt their playstyle depending on the army they field.
Gameplay progresses over a fixed number of rounds guided by an action phase card draft. Players draft role cards determining turn initiative and special tactical actions before executing movement, combat, and faction-specific operations. Combat is brutal, swift, and calculated: defenders choose how to react using specialized combat cards, dealing guaranteed damage and inflicting strategic counter-effects rather than relying on luck. Meanwhile, the Oni—the neutral, destructive minions of Tsukuyumi—are controlled dynamically by the players themselves, turning the hostile environment into a lethal weapon against opponents.
