At the heart of the expansion are six completely distinct character boards, each paired with their own unique starting deck. Step into the boots of classic fantasy archetypes like the resourceful Dwarf Agnet, the swift and elusive Elf D'Allis, the mystical Mage Lenara, or even the quirky MonkeyBot Prime. Unlike the uniform starting hands of the base game, these specialized decks and innate character powers fundamentally alter your early-game engine and guide your trajectory through the catacombs, encouraging diverse paths to victory right from turn one.
To support larger groups without sacrificing tension or pacing, the expansion introduces innovative "React" cards and expanded game mechanisms.
