English Description:
Deploy rule-breaking resident powers and utilize a deadly protective artifact to clean your borders in another gripping, memory-driven deduction puzzle. In Silver Dagger, the standalone sequel and expansion to the acclaimed card game franchise, players manage a secret five-card village layout trying to drive their total monster sum to zero. This edition introduces a highly strategic turn constraint through the inclusion of the physical Silver Dagger token, which allows the player holding it to completely alter the directional flow of the public discard pile and enforce unique card constraints on neighboring players. Operating with an all-new roster of fourteen character types numbered zero through thirteen, mastering these specific defensive capabilities and timing your swaps transforms the traditional memory race into a deep tactical battle of wits.
The game can be enjoyed completely on its own or fully integrated as a modular deck-construction kit. Players can mix and match character numbers with previous printings or other variants in the system to discover complex tactical synergies. Operating with a shared public pool, the pacing remains remarkably active, demanding constant memory retention and sharp prediction. The moment your deduction sheets suggest your village holds the lowest werewolf density, you can trigger the final reveal phase to secure victory and outmaneuver the competition.
This wonderfully fast-paced card-driven puzzle is an exceptionally accessible, light-weight competitive base board game with a BGG complexity weight rating of 1.74 / 5. Perfectly optimized to accommodate high player interaction for 2 to 4 players, it packs its tight memory challenges into a snappy 30 to 60 minute playtime. The mechanics flawlessly interweave card memory retention, set collection, open card drafting, and variable player powers, delivering immense replayability for casual gatherings and strategy nights alike.
