Across five generations, players strive to produce increasingly docile and friendly foxes by strategically choosing breeding pairs and managing their research facilities.

Each round progresses through clear, thematic phases. In the Selection Phase, players draft two parent foxes from the kennel, evaluating their specific genetic markers—such as floppy ears, curled tails, spotted coats, and playful barks. During the Breeding Phase, players gather and roll custom trait dice corresponding to the parents' genetics, marking results directly onto dry-erase pup cards to create a brand-new generation of foxes. You'll even get to name each pup you bring into the world!

The Research and Care phases reward players for fulfilling specific scientific study goals and satisfying generous patrons. Points earned can be funneled into persistent upgrades on your laboratory board, granting extra dice, bonus traits, and enhanced drafting power for future rounds. The friendliest pups from each generation become eligible parents for the next, showing tangible evolutionary progress right before your eyes.
